Becca holds a Masters of Law (Applied Law) majoring in Family Law and her Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice through the College of Law, as well as a Double Degree in Law and Criminology. 

She has practised Family Law from the beginning of her career, including with two of Western Australia’s leading firms, before joining Maria Loukas in the establishment of Loukas Law in early 2017.

Becca was drawn to Family Law through her considerable empathy for people. She has always had a strong interest in social justice, contributing her knowledge and experience to community programs over several years.

Over the span of her career, Becca has worked with many clients through a range of Family Law situations; from negotiated settlements to full-scale litigation.

In 2015, Becca was invited by Legal Aid WA to become a Court Welfare Officer – assisting vulnerable members of the community through their court process. In 2016, Becca was invited to participate in the Sellenger Centre Criminal Justice Review Project, contributing her efforts within the Investigation Team for the Innocence Project.

Becca naturally connects with people, whilst mastering the detail of their circumstances, understanding their objectives, and then applying her deep legal knowledge for their benefit.

Having worked alongside some of WA and Australia’s leading Barristers, forensic accountants and counsellors Becca has the detailed Family Law knowledge and understanding to support and guide clients through difficult times.

Alyce is a highly motivated, relatable and lateral thinker who sees solutions, and not problems.

Alyce graduated from the University of New England with a Double Degree in Law and Financial Services. 

She has completed her Masters of Law (Applied Law) majoring in Family Law and her Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice through the College of Law.

Since admission to the Supreme Court of Western Australia, Alyce has practised solely in Family Law with a strong background in children’s matters. 

Throughout her time as a solicitor, Alyce has had the opportunity to work closely with and be mentored by some of Perth’s most experienced Barristers including senior counsel providing a greater understanding of complex family law issues.

Alyce has a particular interest in matters involving high levels of family violence and other child protection issues.  Her experience in this area allows her to connect with her clients and anticipate and successfully respond to their needs.

Her considerable history in the financial and banking industry also provides her with first-hand experience regarding the intricacy of property settlements and company structures.

Holding a Bachelor of Laws from Murdoch University, where he graduated in 2013, Robert’s legal journey has been exclusively focused on family law.

Before joining Loukas Law, Robert gained invaluable experience at a boutique law firm, immersing himself in all facets of family law. He had the privilege of collaborating closely with some of Perth’s most distinguished family law barristers, contributing to ground-breaking cases like Gear & Laufer [2019] FCWA 2019.

With over 25 years of legal expertise in family law, Sue brings a wealth of experience and foresight to every case. Sue’s extensive background provides her with the unique ability to assess life’s complexities from various angles, offering invaluable foresight into the long-term implications of decisions impacting both financial and family security.

Rahila has experience and wisdom beyond her years, once you meet her it is clear that she has something unique and valuable to offer.

Rahila graduated from Murdoch University in 2019 with a double degree in Bachelor of Laws and Arts, majoring in International Aid & Development and completed her Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from Leo Cussen shortly thereafter. Rahila was admitted as a Lawyer in the Supreme Court of Western Australia in August 2020 and has worked in various private practises since then.

The first being in 2016 when Rahila spent a trimester at the Atma Jaya Catholic University in Jakarta, Indonesia and interned at ASEAN Parliamentarians for Human Rights researching human rights abuses in Southeast Asian countries.

In 2018, Rahila spent a trimester in Geneva, Switzerland studying Refugee Law, Legal Protection of International Human Rights, and International Human Rights Organisations.

Rahila interned in a number of community legal centres in Perth providing legal assistance to senior lawyers, before working in private practise in the areas of commercial and family law.

For the past two years, Rahila has gained valuable experience by assisting Senior Counsels on a range of complicated matters in the Family Court and Supreme Court of Western Australia.

Rahila strongly believes in being perseverant in reaching the goals one sets for themselves. She appreciates the importance of engaging a lawyer who is a strong advocate for their clients but is also compassionate and understanding of the emotional turmoil clients are in during family court proceedings.

Cate graduated from Deakin University in June 2022 with a Bachelor of Laws/Commerce majoring in Finance. 

She has since relocated from Victoria to begin her role at Loukas Law and her Practical Legal Training.

During her studies, Cate gained experience through her work as a Paralegal, Paralegal Coordinator and Operations Coordinator at two community legal centres and completed a clerkship with the Transport Accident Commission. 

Aside from her legal experience, Cate worked for Deakin University in several roles, her latest being as a Senior Work Integrated Learning Officer.

Annabelle Lee graduated with a Bachelor of Laws from Curtin University in February 2023, and was subsequently admitted as a lawyer in the Supreme Court of Western Australia in November 2023.

Her legal journey commenced in 2020 as a paralegal for a commercial law firm before transitioning to the realm of family law in 2022, where her passion for the field blossomed.
